At Primrose Valley the 2 acre boating lake has a decent head of fish with carp up to 20lbs. Bream 5lb+,

Roach 1.5lb. Day Tickets are available on the bank.

A short drive away are a number of fisheries which offer some very hectic sport at reasonable prices.

These include Rosedale Lake (Hunmanby), Wykeham Lakes (nr Scarborough), Scarborough Mere,

& Woldgate Lake (Bridlington). Day Tickets are available on the bank at all these fisheries.

Game Fishing

Wykeham Lakes offer excellent sport for the trout fisherman with boat hire being available on the 7.5 acre water. Established in 1992 and stocked with browns and rainbows the lake record stands at 12.5lbs.

Sea Fishing

A variety of different types of marks are available in the immediate area from beach, rock, pier and boat.

To the south of Bridlington is the place for beach casting whereas there are some well known rock marks in the Filey / Scarborough / Whitby areas, these being Filey Brigg, Jackson’s Bay, Cloughton, Hayburn Wyke, Ravenscar & Runswick Bay.

Boat fishing is widely available in Bridlington, Filey, Scarborough and Whitby were can be found some very experienced skippers only too glad to take you to the most productive locations.
